What is a Conscious Entrepreneur?

Hey all,

Oliver here –– founder of The KINN. 

I wanted to let you know that we’re starting a new writing series here called Conscious Founders. 

The reason; Conscious Founders hold the power to solve some of today's most meaningful problems. 

It’s also the most sustainable, healthy, and even most profitable approach to thrive in business.

And it’s not just our belief –– according to an IBM study, 77% of the public indicate that they are modifying their consumption and have become more conscious about social and environmental considerations.

This is why, here at The KINN, our mission is to empower and support this new generation of conscious entrepreneurs. 

And as we’ve grown over the past year, we’ve had the pleasure of dropping in with incredible founders on a daily basis. 

From first time founders with an ambitious goal, to seasoned entrepreneurs with multiple exits…

There are common threads we’re seeing between each person. 

Not to mention a ton of tools and tactics that inspire us and prompt us to think creatively.

So with our unique position––being at the center of conscious entrepreneurship in LA (one of the most vibrant startup cultures in the world right now), we’re going to share more here and bring you along for the ride.

To start the series off, we want to leave you with a definition.

What is a Conscious Entrepreneur? 

/ Conscious Entrepreneur:

A person who prioritizes self-awareness, inner growth and who positively contributes to the world around them. Their business is aligned with their values, higher purpose and benefits all stakeholders. Profit and impact are valued equally.

And as you read that description, ask yourself, is that you?

Do you not just prioritize profit, but impact? 

Does your business align with your values?

What would it take for you, in your business, to align those values?
