This Sunday, the KINN becomes a TEDx stage
Hey friends,
Two years ago, I made a vision board and set it as my phone background.
In the top left was a TED Talk stage…
And yes I did see Ricky Gervais this past Saturday at the Bowl!
At the time, we were just getting the KINN space off the ground. I didn’t know how or when it would happen.
I just knew that someday, we’d host an event that carried that kind of gravity. That level of impact.
This Sunday, June 8, it’s happening.
We’re hosting TEDx Pacific Avenue, a full-day, independently organized TEDx experience right here at the KINN in Venice, curated by Richard Greene.
It’s going to be something else.
32 extraordinary speakers will take the stage, including actors and cultural icons like Selma Blair, Billy Baldwin, Congressman Ted Lieu, Liz Kennedy, and Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, alongside rising stars and changemakers… and even graduates from our own public speaking course (yep, 6 of them!).
They’ll share urgent, soul-stirring ideas on everything from AI and the loneliness epidemic to mental health, justice, conscious leadership, aging, and technology.
It’s not your typical speaker event.
It’s a day to shake up how you think, to hear stories you won’t hear anywhere else, and leave changed.
We just sold out of our in-person tickets but we’ve added an upstairs viewing party at half-price.
The KINN was always meant to be an incubator for ideas that would change the world.
Now that’s exactly what’s happening.
Hope to see you there.
Oliver
PS. If you or your company want to be part of this, there’s still room for sponsors to join and be featured across 30+ high-impact TEDx talks.
The projected reach is 20K-50K+ views per video. Reply here and let me know if so.
